Argg. I’m too young to have wild gray hairs in my eyebrows! (a mere 55) But alas, they are creeping into my now furrowed brow.

The Problem: Getting rid of gray in my eyebrows without a lot of fuss or muss

The experiment: Try 4 different types of products based on recommendations and
see what works

The Solution: Two eyebrow pencils later (lots o work),
eyebrow dye (scary),eyebrow powder (still dull)
I found it. Eyebrow Mascara! It’s real and it works!

Why I like it:
1. no learning curve, goes on just like mascara
2. lasts 2-3 days once you put it on
3. not real expensive at $23 because it lasts a long time
Lancome. It’s the one called Modele Sourcils not the
Le Crayon.

Where you can find it:http://www.lancome-usa.com/Brows/makeup-brows,default,sc.html

Get meaningful and collated assessment data right from your classrooms!

The PLUS Assessment Evaluation System gives teachers, schools and district administrators real-time classroom data from a variety of assessment instruments.

Common Assessment
Summative Assessment
Formative Assessment

Using Tap It, Click It or Scan It, assessment results are collected from across the school and district. Shown below are a few sample reports.

Class
Grade
School

From the original developer of student response system called “The Classroom Performance System” (CPS), you now have the ability to extract data from every classroom, high tech or low tech and have reporting across the school and district. PLUS Software helps you get the data you need.

Dr. Darryl Ward as the founder and former President of eInstruction student response systems has always felt that technology should open the door for educators to better respond to the needs of the students by identifying early and often any learning issues that may hold them back.

With the PLUS Software you will be able to easily see across the school or district classroom or individuals issues and opportunities that can be addressed once known.

Digital Age students use a combination of Facebook, You Tube and texting every single day outside of school.

Why not give them the capability without the risk IN School?

There’s a new way to launch a social learning network that is easy for both users and the IT Department to operate. It’s fun and engaging. As one viewer said “it’s disguised learning at it’s best” .

MyVRSpot combines the best of Facebook and YouTube capability all within the safety of teacher and district control.

This cloud based program gives students and teachers the ability to connect, interact, share and collaborate without giving IT staff additional work!

It is the most innovative way to connect students and educators with true Web 2.0 technology. Each student and teacher has their own website from which they can upload projects, document files and all types of files without the risk normally associated with outside interactive multimedia venues.

This program is customized to the school district and accessible only by authorized students and teachers. This means students and teachers can interact without the risks of being in traditional online sites.

From student-created videos giving book reviews, demonstrating science experiments, or explaining a math formula, to uploading videos of teachers’ daily lessons in support of best practices, MyVRSpot will become your district’s greatest online resource for both students and educators that they will use on a daily basis.

Technology that sits in the closet is of no used to anyone!

That’s why we provide professional development and training opportunities throughout the year.

Beginner training is critical to get your teachers started. Yet many vendors just sell you the product and then they are gone. The teacher is left alone to figure it out.

Often, they just put the technology down and never start back up. That’s why it ends up in the closet!

TSP offers both webinars and in-school training programs.

Our experience tells us that one time training often works in the short term, but only the most enthusiastic teachers stick with it to master using technology in the classroom.

Therefore, we recommend that our schools consider a series of professional development programs that gives teachers an opportunity to improve their skills over time.

These are the types of training programs we can offer as a Professional Development Solution:

Let’s Get Started – Beginner Basics

Integrating Technology To Teach Curriculum

Intermediate and Advanced User Training

Train The Trainer

Best Practices (visits to the classroom)

Customized Solutions Based On Your Technology

Our training is customized to your needs and any combination of Professional Development Programs can be created to fit your calendar and your budget.

John Knott, Elementary School Principal stated: “I thought the program you provided was absolutley on target. Our teachers thought the topics addressed their needs, and the presentation was clear and easy to follow. They all rated the delivery a 5 of 5 for a perfect score.”

“The new Mobi View is unbelievable!” That’s what one teacher said after she had a chance to try it out.

Here are some of the new features located within the touch screen.

Easily access the toolbar right from the screen, take private notes anywhere in the classroom, access all your daily lessons right from Mobi, & more!

The reports that you got on Mobi Kwik from using CPS clickers are still available, but BIGGER on the new touchscreen too!

Not only will this little notepad do everything the big interactive whiteboard will do, but it uses the same software. You can write, annotate and interact with students from anywhere in the classroom. The price is super too. Just $399 !

The Mobi is a powerful tool when used in conjunction with the CPS Student Reponse System because teachers can see students responses in an LCD window located on the pad that helps the teacher identify privately the students that need help.

Interwrite merged with eInstruction in 2008 and since that time the Interwrite Workspace software has undergone redevelopment so that it now includes both the CPS clicker tool accessible within Interwrite Workspace as well as easy access to Examview import with an Examview button.

Teachers use the Mobi to teach, view files and videos as well as engage students.

Passing the Mobi around the room enables a teacher to call on students to actively participate in the lesson.

RF technology is used for the Mobi. No more bluetooth syncing is required. Just plug in the receiver to your computer, push two buttons and it will automatically sync from then on after plugging in the receiver.

Technology has never been easier!

Comes with RF Receiver, Charging wire with USB connector, Startup booklet and of course the Mobi itself.

WHAT’S THE MOBI SYSTEM?

The Mobi is such a good tool to engage students that eInstruction came out with the Mobi System that includes 1 teacher pad, 2 student pads and a docking station for quick and easy charging.

Teachers can begin a problem by writing and pass the pads out to students to do next steps. Learning Vocabulary is fun and easy when students can use the pad to uncover words or defitions. Students can point, annotate, match words, and be part of teaching the lesson. Peer-to-peer learning and modeling made easy.

INTERWRITE WORKSPACE SOFTWARE

Other features of the software include…

text recognition tool

shape tool

slidescreen feature

protractor, compass & ruler

keyboard

images

sample lessons

camera ‘capture’ tool

Plus…

record and playback video

flash files for interactive learning

eInstruction Community for sharing lessons

The Classroom Performance System (CPS) serves over 6 million students and 200 thousand teachers!

The first student response system was CPS. It is still the #1 Choice of Leading Educators!

Why?

#1 – ease of use
#2 – it does more!
#3 – works with Examview questions and assessments

What more does it do?

CPS offers teachers the opportunity to engage all students with instant feedback, use their existing powerpoints and examview assessments, enables easy ‘Fastgrade’ program to autograde tests and homework, and even produces 24 instant reports including class and individual data as well as study guides based on incorrect answers and standards analysis.

It is the only student response system that works with all Examview questions produced by Textbook publishers including Examview 6.0 and above.

What Kind Should I buy?

There are three types of student response systems.

CPS – IR is an infrared unit with multiple choice answer buttons. Slender, easy for young hands to hold, 5 year warranty. Works like your television remote control. Just point toward the receiver and click!

CPS – RF is a radio frequency unit that enables multiple choice and numeric responses.

All units come with everything needed to use. Purchase with 24, 28, 32 or 40 response pads. Includes receiver, carry case and software with free upgrade.
